disinfection

Implementation for tankless systems and tank systems.

This component is used for this purpose. It can be inserted into the inlet hose (from the angle valve to the system) as required.
Disinfection must be carried out on the old, used filter cartridges; new cartridges would break down the active ingredient and become used up.
As a disinfectant solution, please get CDL solution.
Optional +
1. Turn off the water supply angle valve
2. Open the osmosis tap and let it run until no more water flows / In the case of tank systems, let the system run completely dry and close the tank shut-off tap.
3. Now open the disinfection chamber and cut the hose with the hose cutter
4. Connect the right outlet side to the inlet hose (note the flow direction, indicated by arrows) and add approx. 10 drops of CDL drinking water disinfectant.
5. Close the disinfection chamber
6. Now open the water supply at the angle valve with the osmosis tap open and then close it immediately if water comes out.
7. Now let the filter system rest for about 1 hour to allow the disinfection to take effect. For tank systems, open the tank stopcock after 1 hour so that it fills up (this takes an additional 1-2 hours).
8. Let the filter system run for about 15 minutes so that any disinfectant residue is rinsed away. Now change the filter cartridges
9. If you have a tank system, let the tank empty completely, twice, then you can enjoy the third tank filling again.
