Filter levels and function:

1st stage combination cartridge: sediment and activated carbon, filters coarse particles and chemicals as well as chlorine
2nd stage: 1000 GPD membrane: Filters 90-99% of pollutants from the water such as heavy metals, chemicals, pesticides, insecticides, fluorine, viruses, bacteria, uranium, etc.

Example of filter performance:
Assuming a drinking water conductivity (so-called city water) of 250 mg/l = ppm, you can expect a pure water value of the system of approx. 12-20 ppm at medium degrees of hardness.
